Best Buy - review

SUPER- LONG REVIEW OF TUESDAY!
I had an awesome time, overall.

Crap, I haven't been posting on my blog lately! I promise it's not neglectance, it's that I never have time to!

Onto my review!
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let's start from the morning. I woke up at 3:45 AM. I therefore got no sleep, thank you very much. I take a while (okay, more than awhile ;D) to get ready in the morning, and this was maybe a bit too early. I took a train to the city and got there around 6. It's NYC, where do you walk without seeing a Starbucks? From Grand Central I took the subway to Best Buy- freaked out a bit because I missed the train I was supposed to take and had to wait 10 minutes for the next one to come. But I was at Best Buy at 6:30. There were already 100 people there, a few with sleepingbags and a bunch with blankets. Even though it was supposed to be 65 degrees outside that day, it was FREEZING in the morning. Within the next hour the line doubled & was already around the corner. Oh, and Duane Reade opened and the Snuggies were flying off the shelves. We completely sold them out. :snort: Snuggies IMO are ridiculous, but I bought one anyways. It was so cold. D: Waiting for BB to open I talked to a few girls on the line that were around me. BB people also came out and put the barricades out. We had to move up a couple of times to make room so more people could fit in them. The wristbands started selling at 9. It was literarily one per person. You were given a wristband- which someone put on you, and a laminated necklace thing. After that I stayed around for only a bit- reason being that I saw some familiar faces! It's so awesome when you're friends with the people around you while you're on line for something TH & you meet them again like a year later & you all still remember everything from last time! :heartbeat: Most people left to get something to eat after they got their wristbands, but a lot of people were sticking around BB, regardless of what time BB wanted us to line up by. There was the longest line ever at Starbucks for the bathroom. By the way, it was entirely TH fans. And one very angry lady at the end of the line. LOL. I went uptown to get lunch and ventured around there until I came back to BB at 2:30. There were about 200-300 people there. Instead of going on the line, I went to Urban Outfitters and ended up buying me a new outfit. teehee. I also made a giant hole in my leopard leggings, so I didn't get to wear them. :woe: When I got back to the line it definitely got much longer. Thankfully I found my friends from previous concerts & hung out with them. We spent about half of the time talking about Jost and Bill's new bodyguard's fannypack. And the other half giving ridiculous answers to people who came up and asked "who are you waiting for?", because people asked every five minutes. = me in hysterical laughing fits. Around 4:30, the Best Buy people were riling up the crowd. Basically, making fangirls scream. Made people on the street and cars stop and stand dumbstruck. There was TH music (Humanoid) blasting from the BB store and a lot of random screaming as well. There were a few police there, but I really don't know what they were doing. There wasn't too much bullshit & drama as far as I know. BB really made us squish into the barriers though, because there had to be more room for people at the back of the line because more people were coming. AND THEN... wow my review is long. And THEN I met up with Kayla and her friend Tori. Do you ever get the experience when you're calling someone because you're looking for them and you don't know where they are? Then they end up being five feet away from you? ...:D About two minutes after I met Kayla- which I envy her pretty hair, her friend Elizabeth came running over and we ended up getting to the front of the line. If someone is standing next to me and they're nervous, even if I'm totally calm, I get vibes from them and I start feeling their nervousness. Dammit, then at 6:30 they started letting people in and my mind went BLANK. No thoughts are able to process. Oh and there was some creeper man and I have no idea what he was saying, but that's NYC and pretty much irreverent to this review ::): I was in the third group to go in. Basically you walk into Best Buy, walk almost to the middle of the store- right by the cash registers where they directed you to go in the morning to get your wristbands. Natalie walked by when I was waiting to get my wristband off by a BB person. Natalie is awesome, hee. IDK how I didn't notice it in the morning, but there was a staircase going down. RAN DOWN THE STAIRCASE, and on the first landing, you could see the bbs and the setup. Once you were "ready" and were done taking your pictures, you continued going down the stairs and waited for your turn. Yeah well the two pictures I tried to take ended up craptacular so I just followed Kayla & Elizabeth down the stairs. Um, I think that I forgot to remember to remember everything that happens then. But hey, at least with a blank mind you're not nervous because you are unable to think about anything. There were like 6 guys standing around the table with the bbs, idk if they were bodyguards or just there. None of them were bodyguards I know, if that's the case. I had my album out- ~*ganzganzgeilsuperdeluxefanpack*~, whatever, it's going to be 10X more awesome when I get it signed. Well, once I was on the last step of the stairs & I was the next person in line to go up, I didn't know what I wanted to get signed anymore. I asked one of the guys by the table if I could get my arm signed. He was a big help. Bill looked at me so I just asked him. He said "yeah, sure", and then I walked up and he signed my arm. I don't know if he touched my arm, so I can't talk about how his or any of the other guys' hands feel, lol. He saw that I was holding my album, and he asked "and the album too?". I know I had a very stupid "confused" expression on my face then. But yeah, sure, why not? So I gave it to him & he signed that as well, and passed it to Tom. At some point I accidentally stepped onto the platform that they were on. This would mean veryclosetotopplingontopofthetable. Oops. Then I moved over and held my arm out for Tom to sign. I don't know if I said anything to him or to the Gs, oh my god. I hope I did. :shut: I honestly don't remember exactly what he or any of the guys said, though. Tom looked at me first, then signed my arm, walked over to Georg, Georg signed my arm & grinned, and Gustav said "hi" (I think?) and signed my arm as well. And then.... where the f*** is my album? So, I physically get to the end of the table slower than my album does, and one of the BB people working there were severely confused and looking for the person whose album it was. You got back upstairs by an escalator, and there was a BB lady giving out these Humanoid posters, and I got one. There's a time where something just happened but it doesn't feel like its real or it happened to begin with? Just about what I was feeling like! I still couldn't think. The first thing that hit me, actually, was that I hadn't eaten all day after lunch. I had lunch at 11. I eat every two hours, because I'm one of those people that gets hungry that fast, no matter what they eat two hours earlier. I went to a pizza place with Kayla, Elizabeth, Tori, and Kayla's mom & sister. After we left, I seriously had to get on the subway and go to Grand Central and go home, but we went around the back entrance of Best Buy and TH's escalade was there. Didn't get to see them walking out, but got to talk to their driver. Random: on the subway I realized that I didn't see Jost creeping around, and I was very disappointed in that. I wanted to see a creeping Jost. It's been in my every TH experience. And that's the end of my review. It's long, I know. But I had a lot of fun, and the wait was totally worth it. ::): Now I have to go to sleep. Hope you enjoyed my review! :heartbeat:
